McKinzie and Associates LLC is an Accident Investigation/Reconstruction consulting firm, specializing in commercial vehicle accident reconstruction.

Founded in 1991 as a sole proprietorship our experts have examined thousands of crashes. Currently we employ ACTAR accredited experts. All have an extensive law enforcement background, including providing professional instruction in Accident Investigation; Advanced Accident Investigation; Accident Reconstruction; Forensic Mapping and Commercial Vehicle Accident Reconstruction.

As Commercial Vehicle Reconstructionists, each member of our team has reached CVSA Level One inspection status. Our primary focus is the response to and analysis of major catastrophic highway crashes. We are also available to address your collision reconstruction and vehicle fire-cause and origin analysis needs. Responding with the right analytical tools, our advanced mobile research and command center can stay on-site while the evidence is collected.

Our expert Reconstructionists then have first hand knowledge of the evidence at the scene of the crash and are better able to document and direct the preservation of physical evidence. Our investigations occasionally include an independent review of motor carrier performance. Ultimately, we provide understandable explanations of the event that may include plotted forensic maps or crash animations.
